- Enquiries: when you use our quote form we collect your name, phone number, postcode, the service you need and any message you write.
- Calls, WhatsApp and email: if you contact us directly, we receive the details you share with us.
- Website usage: we count clicks on our call, WhatsApp and email buttons, together with the page, date and time and general device type. This does not identify you and does not use cookies.
- Analytics (with your consent): if you accept analytics cookies, Google Analytics collects information about how the site is used.
How we use it
- To respond to your enquiry, give you a quote and carry out the work you ask for.
- To understand which parts of our website help people get in touch, so we can improve it.
- To meet our legal and accounting obligations.
We rely on taking steps at your request before entering a contract, our legitimate interests in running and improving our business, and your consent for analytics cookies. We never sell your information or use it for unrelated marketing.
Who we share it with
We use trusted providers to run this website and handle enquiries: website hosting (Vercel), our database provider, an email delivery service to send your enquiry to us, spam protection for our form, and Google Analytics if you have consented. They only process your information on our behalf and under our instructions.
How long we keep it
Enquiries are kept for up to 24 months, unless you become a customer, in which case we keep job records for as long as needed for guarantees, accounting and legal reasons. Anonymous click statistics may be kept longer.
Your rights
You can ask to see the information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, object to how we use it or withdraw your consent at any time. Email info@coynesplumbing.co.uk and we'll respond within one month.
If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
